Windy City LakeShake is just around the corner – and if you haven’t bought your ticket yet there’s still time!

The event takes place over three days, June 19-21, and includes Dierks Bentley, Brad Paisley, Florida-Georgia Line and so much more!

Considering you’re going to want to make the most out of the weekend, the last thing you’re going to want to worry about is your cell phone.

From a dying battery to a lost iPhone, technology can be a major pain in the butt.

Here are seven hacks to know about for your next music festival.

1. Use airplane mode and grey scale.
Dying phones are the worst, especially when you’re trying to capture awesome photos or make a call to find your friends. When you’re not using your phone, put it on airplane mode by going into your settings. Using airplane mode will also make your phone charge faster. On an iPhone, you can also go into Settings, Accessibility, and slide it to Grayscale to save your battery.

2. Put your name and a phone number on your background.
Use your notepad and write your name and a phone number of someone you are with at the concert. Then place it as your background on your phone. If someone finds your phone, they will see the background and if you’re lucky, they’ll call!

3. No selfie stick allowed – no problem. Use headphones.
If you can’t use a selfie stick but still want to get a great angle, place your headphones into the phone. Next, use the volume control button on the chord to snap an awesome group shot.

4. Use an app to keep everyone together.
There are tons of apps out there that allow you to see where your friends are. From Drunk Mode to Find My Friends, these apps show a map with the exact location of where your friends are – plus it’s another great trick to use if you lost your phone.

5. Screenshot the lineup on your phone.
Make things easier by screen shotting the lineup on your phone with the time so you don’t have to deal with a bad connection or look for signs.

6. Cover your phone with saran wrap.
It might not be the most fashionable, but if it rains, you’ll be glad you did! Protect your phone by wrapping it in saran wrap – it will still allow you to use the screen and shield it from water and dirt.

7. Screenshot directions if traveling by CTA.
You won’t get service underground, this way if you forget where you’re heading or what stop to get off, you’ll still be able to check it out!

We hope to see you at Windy City LakeShake!
